Both devices feature an ultra-low on-resistance of 1.15Ω maximum at 4.5V VCC, with a VCC operating range of 1.65V to 5.5V for the FSA4157 and 2.7V to 5.5V for the FSA4157A. The device is fabricated on a sub-micron CMOS process for fast switching and is suitable for break-before-make operation. Select inputs are compatible with TTL levels. The FSA4157A has very low quiescent current even when the control voltage is lower than the VCC voltage. The NLAS4599 is an advanced high-speed CMOS SPDT analog switch fabricated on a silicon-gate CMOS process. It achieves high speed propagation delay and low on-resistance while maintaining low power consumption. This switch controls analog and digital voltages that vary over the full supply range (VCC to GND). The device design has a much lower on-resistance (RON) than traditional CMOS analog switches and is more linear with respect to input voltage. The channel select input is compatible with standard CMOS outputs; with a pull-up resistor, it is compatible with LSTTL outputs. The channel select input structure provides protection when voltages from 0 - 5.5 V are applied regardless of the supply voltage. This input structure helps prevent device damage due to supply voltage - input/output voltage mismatch, battery backup, hot insertion, etc.
