The MC74VHC244 is an advanced high-speed CMOS octal bus buffer fabricated on a silicon-gate CMOS process. The MC74VHC244 is a non-inverting 3-state buffer with two active low output enables. This device is designed for 3-state memory address drivers, among others. The internal circuitry consists of three stages, including a buffered output providing high noise immunity and stable output. The input is tolerant to 7 V and supports interfacing from 5 V systems to 3 V systems.
